FAQ

What is live chat and what does it cost?
Live chat means the AI runs the conversation and you step in personally when it matters — in the same chat window, without the visitor having to start again. Every conversation appears in one inbox: in the browser, on your phone, and inside WordPress. Live chat is included in the Pro plan.
What happens when nobody on our side is online?
Then Alynivo does not promise a person. Outside the support hours you define, the AI keeps answering questions and asks for an email address when needed, so you can reply properly later.
Are chat transcripts stored?
Not permanently for the plain AI chat. With live chat, conversations are stored so you can continue and review them — on a server in Germany, deleted automatically after 30 days by default. You can shorten that to 7 or 14 days, export conversations, and delete any of them at any time. What a visitor types but never sends is never transmitted.
Do I need WooCommerce?
No. With WooCommerce, Alynivo can recommend products and add them to the cart. Without a shop it works as a service assistant for questions, advice and inquiries.
How does this work with the GDPR?
Funnel analytics stay inside your WordPress installation and are deleted after 90 days. When AI is enabled, messages first pass through the Alynivo API in Germany and then through the transparently disclosed language-model provider. API chats are not used for model training. We provide a DPA and the current subprocessor list before activation.
What happens when my message quota is used up?
The assistant automatically falls back to basic mode — your website keeps working. You can add extra message packs at any time.
Can I cancel monthly?
Yes. Managed AI can be cancelled monthly. The plugin itself stays free to use either way.
How long does setup take?
